Prices quoted are per room per night and include full Yorkshire breakfast, VAT charged at the prevailing rate.
Arrival - Check Out Times.
Guests are welcomed after 3.00pm on the day of arrival and are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure. These times can sometimes be flexible, and if an earlier or later check in/out is required, we will make every effort to accommodate. Charges may apply.
Rooms are guaranteed from 3pm. Late check outs will be charged at full day rate, if not pre booked.
Deposits.
All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of deposit.
We ask for a £40 per room deposit to confirm any booking. This deposit secures the room and is non-refundable.
Cancellations
Please note that whilst we will make every effort to re-let accommodation cancelled, where a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the due date for arrival, the balance of the monies owed will become payable, unless we are able to re-let the accommodation booked in full. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, just click on the left hand side of this page.

Group bookings 2 or more rooms – Cancellation Policy 14 days.
Payments
Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Delta cards, cheques accompanied by a cheque guarantee card, or cash. Where deposits are paid by cheque, we will also need valid card details, to secure the booking against last minute cancellations. Any booking made will be guaranteed against the credit card given and amounts payable will be taken in regard to cancellations.
We normally offer a minimum two night stay over the weekends, (three nights over Bank Holidays), and are not able to offer single night stays on Friday or Saturday evenings unless previous bookings allow.
Lost Property
We have a minimum handling charge of £5.50 for returning guest property, plus postal charges.
If not claimed we hold property for a period of 14 days. It will then be passed to a local charity shop.
License charges
We have a residential license and guests are asked not to bring their own wines and spirits on to the premises. Consumption of guests own beer, wines and spirits at Ashmount is charged at £10 per bottle.
Damages
We also ask that guests refrain from bringing takeaway food in to their rooms due to the risk of spillage and unpleasant, lingering odours. Any damage caused by spillage will be charged.

We are committed to doing all we can to accommodate less able visitors and those with special requirements. If you have any special needs we will be very happy to discuss these with you. Please see our access statement on the main site.
Accounts
Accounts must be settled in full on departure by Credit or Debit Card, Cash or Cheque supported by Cheque Guarantee up to the value of the card.
Parking
We have safe parking on a first come basis and can not guarantee. Parking is at owners risk, (car and contents).
Breakages
We reserve the right to charge for breakages and/or damages to Ashmount Country House, against the card held for payment. Persons making the booking will be held responsible for any damages.
Smoking
Please Note: From 1st July 2007, we are required by law to go "smoke free" and guests will no longer be able to smoke. As accommodation providers we could be fined up to £2500 if we fail to enforce these laws. Regrettably, anyone who has been found to be smoking indoors will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to £100, payable against the credit card held to cover the booking. You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by reserving a room.
